In December of 2004, Ted Conrad made a statement in his community of Spartanburg SC, by founding a newsmagazine, Prime Years. The publication was created to fill the void that had been created by the print media moving away from publishing local content. He recruited his son David to come on as publisher and editor. Together they published a monthly magazine that brought the community together and focused on local and national senior issues of importance.
After several years of publication, Prime Years was put on a shelf so David and Ted could concentrate on other businesses that needed more attention. We keep the archives of older issues available online so our community can continue to enjoy them.
Our website has been active since 2005 and continues to have many visitors each month. The web continues to create a larger impact on our community so we have created a new blog. David recently sold his Allstate Insurance business and has decided to concentrate many of his sales efforts on Senior Insurance Products. Ted and his other son Charles are still Certified Public Accountants and have a healthy business in Spartanburg SC. The Conrad family also owns a small income tax business in Spartanburg named Tax Savers.
